Wyld St. home has unwanted guest this morning

Police, Fire and MNR crews were called to 854 Wyld Street this morning when black bear decided to wander into the back yard and take shelter in a tree.

North Bay Police manged to tranquilize the a 3 year old male and with assistance from firefighters pull him down from the tree.

MNR bear technicians tagged the ear and loaded him into a bear trap trailer for relocation. They say the minimum distance they take bears away is 60 kilometers but based on his age and size they will take this guy a little further down the road.
