Bill Carlson from Kenosha said an albino skunk comes around his home every so often. The skunk lets Carlson get fairly close -- without spraying him -- and that is how he captured the image.

According to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, "Albinism in skunks and other animals is caused by the function of pigment, the coloring matter found in certain cells of living organisms. Pigment is controlled by genes, inherited from an animal's mother and father."
